Not only does Meals On Wheels of Wake County promote healthy eating, but its mission is to improve the quality of life for seniors who are the most vulnerable. With over 1,000 volunteers in Wake County, Meals On Wheels always seeks new helping hands.
Volunteers must be over 18 and fill out an application online. Once the application has been received, a site manager will follow up with a phone call to schedule and answer questions about the organization and what is expected from volunteers.
