1. Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade

Location: Fayetteville Street, Downtown Raleigh

Time: 10:00 am

Admission: Free

The Raleigh St Patrick's Day Parade starts at Lane Street and Wilmington Street and goes south on Wilmington St, turns right on E Morgan St, left on Fayetteville St, right on W Davie St, and left on Salisbury St, ending at least Lenior St. 

Rain or shine, this parade is an annual family-friendly event. Join us in Raleigh with sights and sounds of Celtic Culture and more. With dogs, floats, bands, dancers, food, crafts, and so many fun things to do for everyone. 

The parade is about an hour and a half long. There is a public parking deck, and some street parking is available that is not a part of the parade route. If the weather is severe, the parade will be canceled, so make sure you are up to date on the social media page to get all the details you need to know before going.

2. Offical St. Patrick's Bar Crawl Raleigh

Time: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Admission: $15.00-$40.00

Location: Various Locations

The Offical St Patrick's Day Bar Crawl in Raleigh is a paid registration where crawlers will receive an official St Patrick's Day Pub Crawl T-Shirt, a liquor shooter from each bar, exclusive access to most bars with covers included, a Bonus Beer for who arrive before 3:50 pm. There will be photographers throughout, as well as complimentary photo booths and many things to do. 

This is the best crawl around. If you are looking to overspend for a list of bars to take yourself to, this is not that crawl. Raleigh's Glenwood Ave and downtown come alive with Irish cheer during this crawl. Join the festival crowd, raise a glass to St Patrick's Day, and enjoy the lively atmosphere as you hop around the town. 

3. St Patrick's Day Block Party at the Hibernian Pub

Time: 11:00 AM - 11:59 PM

Admission: Free

Location: Hibernian Downtown Raleigh 

The St Patrick's Day Block Party at the Hibernian Pub brings a traditional Irish pub experience to Raleigh. With a combination of southern hospitality with an Irish kick, this is a great place to go to on St Patrick's Day.

They have closed down two full streets for this block party. Enjoy Irish drinks, food, dancing, live music, and more at this event. This is one of Raleigh's largest and most celebrated holidays, so do not miss out on this even as well as the perfect Guinness here.

4. Leprechaun Village

Time: 10:00 AM - 12 PM

Location: A.L. Wilkerson Nature Preserve

If you are looking for a more kid and family-friendly event, check out Wilkersons Woodland Village, where they need your help to build some homes for the Leprechauns. Bring your kids to the beautiful outdoors at this nature preserve and use all the natural materials to build homes for our friends who live among the fairies. 

After building your Leprechaun house, we will create a village with all the homes for our little friends. After you are done creating this, you can explore the nature play areas, hike the trails, observe the wildlife, or just enjoy the beautiful outdoors. This is one of the most popular events to go with family and your kids to enjoy the holiday in a peaceful atmosphere as well. 

5. Doherty's Irish Pub St Patrick's Day Block Party

Where: 1979 High House Rd, Cary, NC

Cost: Free to attend

Doherty's Irish Pub in Cary has been one of the best locations in the area to celebrate St Patty's Day. It is also known to be one of the best Irish pubs in Ralwigh due to the authentic Irish food and a good pint of Guinness. 

There usually are two parties at both locations, going on with live music and trivia all week long leading up to the holiday. The parties will feature traditional food, Irish dancing, bagpipes, live music all day, and many other things to enjoy the holiday. 6. Panic on St. Pats - Panic Point

The Haunted Forest at Panic Point is presenting a one-night-only St Patrick's Day haunted trail. This attraction is a unique experience to celebrate St. Patty's Day, but it is also something you will enjoy. It costs about $30 per person, but some promo codes will save you 20% off. 

The Panic on St. Pats will include a haunted forest, a howling hayride, and a dark trail with an assortment of old-world-inspired leprechauns, fairies, druids, and underworld creatures. The Tobacco Wood Brewing Company will also be selling $6 pints of Panic Point unique brews. 

If you are looking to enjoy the Irish holiday in a different way than usual, checking out and visiting Panic on St Pats is perfect for you. Be aware, and have fun. 

7. Good Luck/Bad Luck Weekend Party at Boxcar Bar

The Good Luck/Bad Luck Weekend Party at Boxcar Bar is perfect for friends who want to enjoy beer together. Enjoy performances by step dancers and a bagpipe and drum brigade. There are many great drink specials as well as Irish-themed pies to enjoy while you are here. 

From parties all weekend long, they will transition into the St. Patty's Day spirit, surrounding you with leprechauns, gold coins, rainbows, and many other things. Fuel all your fun with green beer, lucky charms, Irish car bombs, and so many other things.

The St Patrick's Day Party at Bombshell Beer Company in Holly Springs is an all-ages-friendly party and is a perfect way to celebrate. There also will be a Leprechaun who will be doing tricks as well.

9. Shamrocks and Shenanigans at Pullen Park

Shamrock and Shenanigans at Pullen Park is a free festival for all ages. There will be a Celtic band, Irish dancing, kilt competitions, bagpipe parage, and a kid's scavenger hunt for a gold prize. 

Dress up as a leprechaun if you are on team Shamrock or as a pirate for team shenanigans. The Pullen Park team will keep up the score while each team tries to find the most gold. This is a fun day event for kids, families, friends, or anyone who is looking for some unique fun and to enjoy the Irish holiday.

10. St Patrick's Day Festival at Lafayette Village

"Paddy on the Green" festival is a way to show your green for a total immersion into the Irish experience at the St Patrick's Day festival at Lafayette Village in Raleigh from noon to 4 PM. This event offers entertaining, fun-filled Irish Culture while you enjoy live music, food, and fun for all. 

This festival is made for all ages and features activities for everyone to enjoy.
