Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm is a family-owned farm in Apex. They choose and cut Christmas trees and pre-cut them from the NC Mountains. Their limited supply keeps you from cutting your tree or bringing your tools. The field closes at 5 PM, costing $6-$10 per foot. 

Their tree farm offers many different types of trees, from fresh-cut NC Fraser Firs to NC White Pine and Concolor Firs. They make fresh wreaths at the farm for purchase as well. There is also a Christmas shop with many locally made and sourced items.

If you are here and looking for a fun time, there are concession stands that feature donuts, apple cider, hot chocolate, hayrides, weather permits, and playgrounds that include a bounce house and slides. If you are also searching for pictures, photographers are available, too.

4. Smith's Family Fun Park

Smith's Family Fun Park is a Christmas tree farm in Orange County that offers Fraser Firs from the NC Mountains, White Pins, and many extra things to do while you are there. You can cut your White Pines and purchase freshly made wreaths. Tree stands, as well as bows, are available for sale.

They shake the trees out and bag them before transporting them, and they can put the tree stands on for you or even deliver them.

5. Back Achers Christmas Tree Farm

This farm also does allow special orders, so if you are looking for a tree over 10' tall, please feel free to call ahead and place your order. The selection at the farm, in general, is Carolina Sapphires, Leyland Cypress, Green Giant Arborvitaes, pre-cut Fraser Firs, and small Virginia Pine and Cedar trees for smaller spaces. 

There will be a section of over 300 trees from 5' to 12' tall and more petite. Some trees will have grown but will not be ready for purchase this year. This family-owned, choose-cut farm provides a warm and festive atmosphere for families to check off the holiday season by choosing their annual tree and enjoying all the joy of the holidays. 

6. Boyce Farms

This farm does offer to choose and cut service. However, they are limited crops this hard, but they have a beautiful supply of fresh NC Fraser Firs. The choose and cut options are from White Pines, Leyland Cypress, Blue Ice, Carolina Sapphire Christmas Trees, and pre-cut trees available from the NC Mountains. 

Boyce Farms provides saws or will cut them for you and net them for more accessible transportation while loading/tying them for free. Please feel free to bring your saw. However, chainsaws are not allowed.
